What is the opportunity?
The RBC Dominion Securities Branch in Vaughan is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join a well-established team. By joining the team, you will participate in growing the business by providing exceptional and efficient service and by taking care of administrative tasks related to client accounts and by responding to client inquiries.
What will you do?
Perform basic accounting and daily administrative functions in a punctual, professional manner Investigate and resolve inquiries related to accounts and refer to the Investment Advisor where appropriateFollow-up on client trades to ensure settlement and deliveryEnsure clients’ accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentationAssist in preparing mailings such as newsletters and information packagesAssist the Investment Advisor in preparing for client meetings and client appreciation events
What do you need to succeed?
Demonstrated skills in providing world class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients3-5 years experience in accounting, administration and customer serviceExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenPassion for investmentsStrong Microsoft Office skills, especially ExcelMeticulous attention to detail and excellent time-management skills
Secretarial or accounting training / backgroundExperience as an Administrative Assistant or Associate in the investment industry
